Minnie F. Blackwelder, 77, wife of George E. Blackwelder, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022.

Born in Savannah, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary May Smith.

Minnie enjoyed a career with Eckerd Drug where she retired as a Pharmacy Technician. She was also a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church where she had been a choir member and a Sunday School teacher and enjoyed fellowship with the senior adults.

In addition to her husband of 60 years, left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Alicia Emory (Ken); son, Eddie Blackwelder; and three grandsons, Joshua Blackwelder, David Emory, and Lucas Stage.

The Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Cross Roads Baptist Church, where the family receive friends following the service.
