To the family of our Dear Sweet Aunt Myra: She was such a great addition to our family when she married my mother's brother, Harold Crumley. All of us nieces and nephews were always welcomed into her home and always offered something to eat or drink. One of my fondest memories was during the summer when she would 'shell crowder peas'. She could shell a basket of peas before most folks did a handful!! Oh yes, and they were very delicious. We always enjoyed her piano playing and she would graciously play for someone to sing a hymn ~ usually Aunt Doris and Dot!! The service Mark and his family planned for her was just as she would have wanted. Yes ~ she will be missed but what great memories we have of her and Uncle Harold and Paul. Those sweet memories will always bring smiles and warm our heart. Sending much love to all of her family. Phyllis McKinney Jamison

I really think fondly about my time in the Chemistry Department with Myra. I learned so much about becoming an adult from her and I know she will be missed. As I miss her.

I worked in Biology at Furman. Myra was a wonderful friend and confident. She was kind to everyone, had a beautiful outlook on life, even when she was concerned about her son's illness.

Dear Family, My heartfelt sympathy to you in your loss of precious Myra. I met Myra when I began work with Metropolitan Life in June 1960 after graduating High School and she was such a special lady. It was fun when she and Harold planned to elope as it did not seem in character to her - an exciting time for us at work and happiness for her and Harold! I went on to retire with MetLife in 1996 but I never forgot that special red-haired Myra that made such an impression on me and my life. May your memories give you comfort over the coming times and keep her close to your heart. May God wrap you in His love to give you grace, strength and His peace during this most difficult time. May God bless each of you and be gracious to you. Sent withmy love and prayers❤️❤️🙏🙏.
