Nixine (Nicky) Huff Waters

Nixine (Nicky) Huff Waters, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, in 1932, she was the daughter of the late Grady C. Huff, Sr. and Mattie Durham Huff.

Nicky was a 1950 graduate of Parker High School, where she developed lifelong and treasured friends. Compassionate and caring, she was a valued and respected member of Hunts Memorial Baptist Church in the Dacusville Community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Thomas (Tommy) E. Waters, Jr.; and brothers, Grady C. Huff, Jr. and Floyd C. Huff.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Donna; grandson, Paul (Meredith); great grandsons, Liam and Chaplin; and multiple nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A reception will follow at the Hunts Memorial Baptist Church fellowship hall, 501 Alex Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
