Mrs Dutt was one of my second mothers. I always felt so welcome in her home. Some of my favorite memories are her as our youth choir director. I don’t have the best voice, but had a mini solo in our church play. She let me kind of rap it so I wouldn’t sound so bad. I think everyone was happy with that decision. I will also always remember her teaching us to pronounce our t’s when we were singing. She sang like no other person I knew. No one annunciated those t’s like she could. I thank her for all of the fond memories she was a part of and especially for showing grace and forgiveness to Stan and his friends. She was a great mother to Stan, Marci, and all of their friends. What a joyous sound it must be in Heaven as she is using that voice to praise and worship our God.
