Patricia Ann Carnes, a devoted wife and loving mother, peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 14, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 18th, 1940, Pat was 83 years old.
Patricia shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with they love of her life, Richard. Together, the created a loving home and a lasting legacy of family bonds. Patricia was a devoted and nurturing mother to her four children, Michelle, Mark (Andrea), Theresa (Roger) and Tim.
Her love extended to the next generation, as she is survived by her grandchildren, Margaret Willis (Freddie), Nicole Moore (Tony), Alex Martin, Zac Carnes, Andrew Martin and Brittany Slezak; Patricia was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Eleanor Rose Willis, Cody Willis, Cadence Willis, Anthony Moore, Ava-Marie Moore, Ezekiel Moore, and Adeleine Slezak.
Patricia was not only pillar of love and strength for her family but also an extraordinary cook, creating cherished memories around the family table. Her passion for crafts and a love of travel took her to many countries in Europe and Asia, enriching her life with diverse experiences and cultural treasures.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Margaret Mathews, and her two brothers, Ronald and James. Patricia’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, warmth and unwavering love.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from on 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, in Greenville, SC. A Mass of Christian Burial to honor and celebrate the life of Patricia Ann Carnes will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
