Patricia Wegman St. Germain, age 71, passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home in Greenville, SC on January 10, 2022.

She was born on September 24, 1950 in Rochester, NY, the only child of the late Royal C. and Claire Little.

She had what some might consider her sister, Gail Klee, a very special friend of 57 years. She wed Thomas H. Wegman and had two sons, Thomas E. and Matthew T. Wegman. Thomas lives in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife Melissa and three daughters, Victoria, Catherine, and Julia. Matthew lives in Knoxville, TN with his wife Allison and his three daughters, Lillian, Sydney, and Riley.

Later in life, Pat met and married Hugh E. St. Germain. Pat was welcomed with open arms into the St. Germain family; three sons, David Becker-St. Germain (Kat), Jeffrey St. Germain, and Matthew St. Germain (Sarah); two daughters, Paula Ardel and Linette Gosnell (Mark), along with her eight grandchildren Ben, Emily, Hallie, Avery, Ryan, Taylor, Sam, Olive and great-granddaughter Lyra.

Pat absolutely adored all of her friends and family. She loved to travel and entertain family and friends. Pat was an amazing cook who always liked to try new things. No one was a stranger to her; everyone was treated like a member of the family or a good friend. She was a classy lady in everything she did and everywhere she went. No matter what life threw at her, she stayed strong and still managed to be there for those around her. She genuinely loved and cared for those close to her. Pat will be forever adored and sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest. The family appreciates those attending to follow the CDC guidelines on Social Distancing and wearing a mask.

I am sending my deepest sympathies to the whole family. I met Pat at her first meeting at Newcomers of Greater Greenville. The minute I met her I knew she was special. I was President at the time and immediately asked her to be on the board! We became good friends on the board and off. We would meet for lunch or coffee or go shopping. She quickly became very active on the board and eventually became President of Newcomers. I knew she would! I moved to Sacramento almost five years ago after my husband passed but Pat and I kept in touch every Christmas. It was my pleasure to have known her. Myra Hess

What a beautiful memorial service for a beautiful person. Our summer visit is even more special to me now.

Blessed to have known this special woman. She was a joy to be around, always sweet and kind, nonjudgmental, funny. Our Bunco group was blessed to have her. She will be missed. Prayers to Hugh and all the family at this sad time.

Pat was a very kind, caring and patient person. She was one of my mentors as I was learning new job skills. She had such a positive, up-beat attitude and gave encouragement which helped build my self-confidence in my new job. I will be forever grateful for that. I will remember her with great love and admiration. May her memory be eternal.

A loving wife, mother and friend, Pat will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.

Pat was my godmother and a special cousin. She always did things top-notch and extraordinary like holding a “tea” for me when I married 30 years ago. We are so fortunate to have spent quality time with her last summer in Rochester. So very sorry to Hugh and the entire family for this tremendous loss. Thoughts and prayers to all.

My prayers to all the people whose hearts she has touched. Heaven has gained another angel.

I used to drive Pat to our summer jobs at Kodak.She was my working partner and it was a fun summer job because of her.Saw her at the reunion and she had such a great attitude.Very sad news

The world lost an amazing woman. Pat, you will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of meeting you. Your personality, humor, and love of life was something that will not soon be forgotten.

This was tough to hear. I know she will be in an even better place and with some great people who have gone before. Condolences to Mr. Hugh, and my dear nephew Matt and the crew in Knoxville and all who loved her. Love, RICK!

There are no words to capture the significance of the loss of Pat. She was like family to my mom and to me. When I think about Pat, I think of her welcoming smile and a twinkle in her eye.
