Melissa Wright left a message on August 5, 2021:
I’d like to offer my deepest sympathies to Paul’s family. I had the privilege of working with him for over ten years. Paul & I each had a dog of the same age, going through many of the same health issues. We shared our pain of watching them suffer but still found ways to laugh about having an old age home for pets. There was absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do for his dog. When it came to work, Paul was a great role model. I was always amazed at his ability to stay calm during times of work crisis. He kept us on the right track and tried to move us forward when we hit a wall. He was never rattled by anyone’s reaction. He was also very giving of his time and knowledge. He spent countless hours helping me get up to speed and connect the dots. He was patient and helpful, and never once made me feel stupid for asking questions. He had creative ideas on ways to work with others. He always wanted to meet everyone’s needs. Paul probably never knew how many lives he touched, or how much he was appreciated. He will be deeply missed.

I first met him when he was an ELTP student. Paul always had a friendly disposition and a smile on his face. When Paul was a manager, I had an interview with him. He had a serious face, because it was an interview, but behind that you could see a smile lurking. We would chat in the cafeteria sometimes and he always seemed happy. I wish I had the opportunity to work with him more because he was the kind of person who could get results on amicable terms with anyone. He had that kind of personality. I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.

A thought of comfort and condolences to the grieving family. Paul was a jewel and will be sorely missed. We had some great conversations over the years. When we were coming into the office I remember Paul and I would get to work about the same time every day and we walked into the building together laughing and joking. Even over this past year we talked on the phone about both personal and work topics. I will always remember him. He was a pleasure to work with and always very helpful. His smile was like a ray of sunshine and his personality was the best. We will be praying for your strength during this difficult time.
