Peggy Irene Brown, 93, wife of Albert Brown, died Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Born in Indiana County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Margaret Bloom Fulmer.

Irene was a long time Member and Sunday School teacher at Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher for Greenville County School District. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cogburn and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Brandon Brown and wife, Andrea, Samantha McMinn; and husband, Josh, and Natalie Brittain; great-grandchildren, Brooks Brown and Sterling McMinn; daughter-in-law, Beth Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Brown; sister, Norma Lyle; and two brothers, Jim Fulmer and Ken Fulmer. 

A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will be in the Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. All attendees are strongly encouraged to wear masks and follow CDC guidelines on social distancing.
