Peggy Louise Haney

Peggy Louise Bolt Haney, 79, devoted wife of the late William Robert Haney, Jr., passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Macon, GA, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Oliver and Reba Myrtle Marchant Bolt.

Peggy was introduced to William by her aunt while attending San Souci Baptist Church. They fell in love, married, and started their family. She was known to be set in her ways, but she was the most wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, “Granny Haney”, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Her memory will continue on with her four loving children, Theresa “Terry” Haney Riedel (Michael), John Haney, Robert “Robby” Haney (Landi), and Richard Haney; seven adoring grandchildren, Stacy Chiurri (Elijah), Mandy Smith (Chris), Sonya Tennihill (Kody), Chad Haney, Zachary Haney (Candice), Ashley Pearson (Rocky), Alyssa Mulkey (Austin); twelve adoring great-grandchildren, Abby, Kyle, and Kate Haney, Ava and Zander Haney, Kimberlyn, Kalleigh, and Kenzie Mulkey, Carson McGuffin, Cassidy and Elijah Pearson, and Macey Smith; three sisters, Jean Gooch (Travis), Linda Grant (Benny), and Becky Taylor (Benny); brother, Buddy Bolt (Terry); and brother-in-law, Gerald Gaspardo.

In addition to her parents and loving husband of 39 years, she was reunited in Heaven by her grandson, Zain Thomas Haney;and her two sisters, Martha Gaspardo and Mary Shepherd.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 19th at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel followed by burial in Graceland Cemetery, West.
