Peggy McCollum Sharpe, 94, of Greenville, wife of the late John Walker Sharpe, died Thursday, December 2, 2021.

Born in Reidsville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Florence McCollum.

Mrs. Sharpe was a long-time member of Eastlan Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Sharpe; three daughters, Sharon Sharpe, Wanda Bishop, and Beverly Cash; six grandchildren, Rusty Cash, Charlie Sharpe, Nathan Sharpe, Jonathan Sharpe, Josh Bishop, and Matthew Bishop; and eight great grandchildren, Emory Sharpe, Louis Sharpe, Annabelle Sharpe, Coleman Sharpe, Eleanor Bishop, Owen Bishop, Ansley Bishop, and Levi Bishop.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 6, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
