I am an old work friend and familiar with members of both his immediate family as well as extended family. He was certainly one of class gentlemen I had the pleasure to work and socialize with. A couple of mutual friends, Jim Dominick, long passed, and Bob Vernoy all grieve Phil's passing. May God bless both he, Jane and his family. Here's one for you. Rest in peace.

My condolences to Elaine, Lee, Erin and the family on Phil’s passing. I have many fond memories of Phil and he leaves a long-standing imprint upon me and others. Philip and I worked closely together for several years at Fluor. We were part of the ALDA Team that accomplished great things for the company and our client over an eight-year run. Phil served as the administrative and financial lead for the business operating as an independent division. The client challenged our team to perform to a high level and it was crucial to meet their expectations. We were very successful in implementing an aggressive growth plan through reliable execution of the client’s entire capital investment program in North America. Based on Phil’s demonstrated professional knowledge and personal integrity he was entrusted to take on the financial management of the program soon after it began. He flawlessly assessed all charges and issued checks to all deserving suppliers around the globe. The client dutifully funded the bank account from which spending totaled hundreds of millions of dollars. Through occasional audits they confirmed that trust in Phil was deserved. Through this experience we became life-long friends and Phil has always served as the benchmark of personal integrity for me. Thanks, dear friend. Rest in peace. James E. (Jim) Owens

Love and Prayers to the family of Phil Hamilton. I worked and played with Phil for over 20 years through ALCOA and directly with Fluor. My wife Cheryl (CJ) was contracted through Fluor after she retired from ALCOA from 2007-2020 and worked in the Greenville office from 2010 - 2013. Phil was a great man to be around working and playing!

Ive only known Phil for about 8 or 9 years now, but have many great memories in that little time. Phil was a very funny guy, he could make you laugh in a split second. He wasnt afraid to say what he wanted to say and would crack me up just about ever time. He loved his family, especially Elaine, Lee, and Erin; and was loved back 10 fold. He will be missed by friends, family, old coworkers, and all alike. Rest in Peace Phil you were a one of a kind man.

To Phil’s family, I offer my sincerest condolences. His passing deeply saddens me. I worked with Phil for close to 20 years. Through him, I had the opportunity to know and work with his daughter and meet the rest of his family as well. Now much too soon, he goes to join our heavenly family and be among others whose presence and friendship shaped the good ol’ days of our lives. He will be truly missed.
