Ralph "Arnold" Wells, 81, beloved husband of the late Marilyn Wells, died Sunday, January 24, 2021.

Born in Travelers Rest, he was a son of the late Reverend Ralph and Ruth Wells.

Mr. Wells was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.

He is survived by daughter, Jeanine Wells; son, Jeff Wells (Wanda); granddaughters, Cindy Wells, and Jennifer Queen (Josh); great grandson, Mason Queen; and a sister, Delores Duke.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Wells; and sister, Evelyn Alberson.

A visitation will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Truth Missionary Baptist Church, with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. A private burial will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021. The family appreciates those attending to follow the CDC guidelines on Social Distancing and wearing a mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Truth Missionary Baptist Church, 200 Saluda Dam Road, Greenville, SC 29611.

We will greatly miss Arnold Wells. He was such a great friend to Danny, me and my family and my parents. He was our song leader at Harmony Baptist Church, where his father, Rev. Ralph Wells was our Pastor, with his wife, Ruth Wells by his side. Rev Ralph Wells was the one who did our Wedding Nuptials in 1971. Arnold’s wife Marilyn Wells, was our pianist and she could sing so beautifully. We have such great memories with them all, and are looking forward to the day when we all shall meet again in Heaven.
