Rea Tinsley, 48, wife of Anthony Tinsley, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of Timothy Peck and Luanne Batson Gregory.

Rea was currently the Director of Operations for Association Management Group.

In addition to her parents, and husband of 30 years, left to cherish her memory are her three children, Hunter, Taylor, and Kayle Tinsley; her sister, Lorie Lockaby and husband, Eric; step-father, Terry Gregory; and her mother-in-law, Shirley Seigle.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 25th at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel followed by burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

When River Falls Plantation HOA was looking for a new management company, we met with two people from AMG. They seemed to have the services we were looking for, but Rea was the reason we said yes so quickly. We could tell that she was a wonderful person who truly wanted to help and brought a lot of experience. I was lucky enough to work with her and in the process, I found an incredible friend in addition to a terrific manager. I so admire her courage, strength, faith and boundless love of her family. I miss her deeply.

I am SO sorry for your loss! This breaks my heart more than you can know. Rea and I were close in elementary school. But drifted in the middle and high school years. We still kept in touch. I did not get to spend much time with Rea and your family, but the times I did, Rea and the whole family was very kind and sweet to me and Tom. I am very sorry for your lost and thank you for the time we did get to spend with you.

I can hardly believe she is really gone. The 21 years that I got to know and love her were no where near enough. I will cherish the memories forever. My love and prayers to all the family. I claim you as my own.

I'm so heartbroken for the family. My thoughts and my love are with y'all. Even though I was not regularly spending time with her, we shared a true connection. Words fail..

Many summers I spent over at their house. Hunter and I were close friends, feeling almost as brothers and Rea felt to be my second mom. She will be deeply missed because she was loved by many.

She was an amazing and loving friend, wife, and mother and will be missed by many!
