Robert David Lentz, 71, husband of Nancy Lentz, died Monday, August 24, 2020.
Born in Greenfield, OH, he was the son of the late Franklin and Helen Tomlinson Lentz.

Mr. Lentz was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. He enjoyed being Papa Monster for his grandkids! He was his children and grandchildren’s number one fan at all of their sports events.

In addition to his wife he is survived by children and grandchildren: Christina Teague (Daniel) and children Nikolai, Helena, Estelle, Avalon, Rowan, Scarlett, and Blaize Teague; Bobby Lentz (Ashley); Steve Lentz (Kendall) and children: Harper Kate and Emerson Lentz; Katherine Martin (Jeremy) and children: Breana, Francesca, and Samantha Martin; Thomas Lentz (Michelle) and children: Cornelia, Rosemary, and Frank Lentz; and Heidi Lentz-Coleman(Scott) and children: Noah, Haleigh, Lucas, and Gabriella Coleman. One brother, Frank Lentz(Jean): two sisters, Cookie Coakley (Wayne) and Marj Hoffman (Bill).

The Funeral Service will be Friday, August 28, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Private Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.

I miss you, Dad. I miss you so much. This is hard, really hard. I love you forever.

To the entire Lentz family- I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Lentz was such a special man who was entirely devoted to his family. I will always remember how much he loved his kids. I have fond memories of his great sense of humor.

I’m so sorry to about your husband, father, and grandfather. I live a few houses down from you and as a neighborhood walker, will miss passing him by and saying hello.

I am so sorry I am not with you to mourn the death of my brother Bob I last talk to him on his birthday I have two special memories of him We walked through Greenville and a vacation the two of us shared in Myrtle Beach I will miss him

To the Lentz family with our heartfelt sympathy, sorry for your loss. Bob was so special. He will not be forgotten. All the wonderful memories we shared with him will live on forever in our hearts. Bob was a very good neighbor, a friend, baseball coach and fun loving family person. He will be deeply missed.

To the entire Lentz Family: I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Lentz’s sudden passing. I remember back to my days at Winthrop when I would come to your house with Christy and have such a fun time. Mr. Lentz was always so welcoming and I always felt like I was a part of your family. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and knew he loved his family beyond measure. I will keep you all close to my heart during this very sad time.

Bob picked a song to play at our wedding in 2002. The song was “Another One Bites the Dust” sung by Queen. In Bob’s wonderful humor, it was in reference to the groom on that occasion.
Bob, you are eternally loved. Thank you for being you!

Papa Lentz we know you're dancing in heaven and watching over all your grandbabies! There are so many! Rest in peace. You're so tremendously loved.
