Robert “Bob” Earl Benscoter

Robert “Bob” Earl Benscoter, 88, husband of Emma Benscoter, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

Born in Tracy, IA, he was the son of the late Fred and Cora Lee Benscoter.

After a career with the United States Air Force, Bob and Emma retired to Conestee, SC where he enjoyed a career with Creative Builders as a carpenter.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, left to cherish his memory are one son, Kenneth Benscoter and his wife, Denise; two daughters, Rhonda Snider and her husband, Bobby, Donna Clark and her husband, Benny; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Benscoter.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by six siblings and one great-granddaughter.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 1st at 12:00 noon in the Chapel with burial to follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
