I just learned of Bob’s passing. How very sad. He was a true friend to many of us and especially at the U of Idaho. Really, a legend for all he did there. I was fortunate to keep in contact with him through the years. Loved him and will miss him. Rest in peace, RH. Ken

I offer my deep sympathies to Bob's family. I worked with Bob in the 1990s while he was with Phillips. Although I worked as a contractor - and was just learning how to be a professional - Bob always treated me like an equal. He was as kind and friendly a person as I've ever met. Others have said that the world is a better place for Bob Manz being in it - I couldn't agree more! Godspeed, my friend!

I worked with Bob at the City of Greenville. He was the best. His attention to detail was legendary. At the same time he never lost the ability to see the whole picture. And he had a moral compass that never failed him or everyone he came in contact with.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard R. Levy left a message on July 7, 2021:
I worked with Bob at Phillips Fibers. My wife and I moved to Greenville in 1986. Bob taught me quite a bit about the products we made and educated me about there use. He was very helpful and contributed a great deal to my success at Phillips. He shared his knowledge with many and was always there to answer questions. Bob was one of the good guys. He will be missed.
