kbbiggs62@gmail.com My condolences to the family, as I have just heard of their loss! I encountered Dr. Richey very briefly, as a temp nurse in his office (while his staff was being trained), and later as an educator for the EMR used by McLeod some years ago. He remembered me, and spoke to me in Lowe's once and was so enthusiastic about his gardening! I'm sorry for your loss. He was well-respected by his patients!

When my mother was "circling the drain" from hospital contracted c-dif, my wife insisted I ask Dr. Richey to consult, which he graciously agreed to do. When he walked into the room and saw the food provided by the hospital, the immediately called in the floor staff and told them that he was certain they knew better, and explained the importance of matching the diet to the disease. Thanks to his intervention, Mama lived another four years -- and had yogurt with every meal! We have included Dr. Richey in your daily prayers ever since, and now we extend those prayers to his family and everyone he has touched. Joe and Donna Sallenger, Mars Bluff SC

Dear family, Incredibly, I only recently had the privilege of meeting Dr. Richey at the North Greenville Campus of Prisma. I first heard about him from my brother-in-law who sought care for a heart issue. He could not speak highly enough of Dr. Richey. A few months later, I took my daughter to the walk-in clinic. He took such great care with her initial work-up then sent her off for more specialized care. A few weeks later, my son and I saw him. Each time I met Dr. Richey I was more and more impressed with his passion for taking care of patients. Yesterday, I was back at North Greenville and fully expected to see him. I am absolutely heartbroken for your loss and for the loss of the community at large. Sincerely and respectfully . . . .

Cindy and Sons, Jim & I were so sad to hear you lost Bob! In DeQ, you may remember you lived across from my mom & dad, GB & Sue Andrews. We lived on the next street. Many fond memories of all your family and especially the care Bob gave us...especially our daughters, Leslie & Jamie! I especially remember when little Bob got the chickenpox… Dr. Bob said he was sending him all over the neighborhood so all the kids could get it and get it over with! Leslie and Jamie both got it and indeed got it over with! Many fond memories of those days in DeQ! Please accept our sincere sympathy and know we are saying a prayer for all of you in the coming days. ♥️

To Cindy and Dr. Richey's family, Pauline and I are sad at Dr. Richey's passing, but we are happy that he is with our Lord and all the saints and angels celebrating the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was an excellent physician to both of us. He gave Pauline a much needed breathing treatment for her asthma and he gave me one for a chest injury after I had delivered some plants. He helped us get our breath back. We enjoyed working on his lawn with Cindy's guidance. We were impressed with his vegetable production. He took care of Granny Skipper. She loved Dr. Richey. She is with the Lord also. We enjoyed sharing our faith and God's Word with him. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints" Psalm 116:15. We are praying for God's grace and comfort for the family. For the love of Christ and His Word, Tommy and Pauline Taylor Proverbs 22:4
