Ronald Alvarez, 77, husband of Ada Alvarez, died Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore and Mary Galante Alvarez.

Mr. Alvarez was an Air Force veteran and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.

Mr. Alvarez was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Theresa Alvarez.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 9:30 am until 10:45 am at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be in M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

My memories run deep and I cherish the times spent talking and enjoying the wonderful ROLLS, mac n cheese, cakes & pies of Grandma Perry’s. I can still taste all the love that went into each dish.
