Today, we gather to remember and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman, Mama Ruth. She was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love in our lives, and her memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. Mama Ruth found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a special fondness for those little Coca-Colas and Dr Peppers, a sweet reminder of the happiness that could be found in the small things. It was in these moments, sipping her beloved beverage, that we could see her radiant smile and feel her infectious laughter. Family was at the core of Mama Ruth's existence. She was the glue that held us together, the wise matriarch who guided us through life's twists and turns. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and love, where gatherings were filled with laughter, stories, and the comfort of her embrace. Mama Ruth's legacy lives on in the bonds she nurtured among us, a testament to the enduring power of family. But Mama Ruth's devotion extended beyond her immediate family. She was a devout member of her church, a place where her faith shined brightly. Her commitment to her spiritual community was unwavering, and her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many. She exemplified the teachings of compassion, forgiveness, and love that were so dear to her heart. As we say our farewells, let us not dwell on the loss we feel but instead remember the beautiful life that Mama Ruth lived. She showed us the value of cherishing the little moments, the importance of family, and the strength of faith. Her legacy lives on in each of us, in the love we share, the laughter we create, and the kindness we extend to others. In honoring Mama Ruth's memory, let us continue to embrace the simple joys of life, strengthen the bonds of family, and nurture our faith. In doing so, we pay tribute to a remarkable woman whose love and legacy will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Mama Ruth. You will be dearly missed, but your spirit will forever shine brightly in our lives. Grandson,

Ms. Ruth was such an amazing lady. She took me under her wing when I was the Youth Pastor at her church and became one of my favorite volunteer. The way she loved on my students and myself was such a blessing. We lost touch and in recent years the Lord allowed my family and I to ended up at the same church once again and our friendship continued.

Some of my favorite memories of Mama Ruth were on the softball field. She was an amazing pitcher and I loved being on the ball field with her any many others! She was an amazing lady with a sweet spirit! I love that she took time out of her life to spend time with my mom after dad died. Ann and Charlotte, you were BLESSED to have her in your life! She will be missed! Love, Rita
