Sadie Ann Dearman Harris

Sadie Ann Dearman Harris, 91, wife of late J.P. Harris, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Icie Ragsdale Morgan.

Mrs. Harris was a member of Eastlan Baptist Church. She was a loving mother who dedicated her career to taking care of and raising her daughter at home.

She is survived by son-in-law James Smith; step-daughter Jane Harris; step-son Bruce Harris; sisters Bobbie Galloway and Linda Matthews; grandchildren Tad Smith and Morgan Webster; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Tandy Dearman, Jr.; daughter Janet Dearman Smith; brothers Archie Morgan, Jr. and Leroy Morgan, and sister Hazel Lane.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
