Sammy Carol Caughman, 75, husband of the late Julia Caughman, died Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Born in Edgefield, SC, he was the son of the late Edith Powell Caughman.

He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Rice and Dee Dee Rice; two grandchildren, Ashleigh Tollison and husband, Aaron, and Shane Robinson and wife, Heather; two great-granddaughters, Skylar Tollison and Kilyn Tollison; sister, Cheryl Mackey and husband, Neal Young; special friend, Connie McCloud; and beloved dog, Travis.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. The funeral service will be Thursday, May 12th at 12:00 noon in the Southeast Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West.

The family will be at the residence.
