Sandra Ann Bowers, 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Lavone and Lucille Brissey Sayers.

Sandra was a former member of Unity Baptist Church and City View First Baptist Church and was currently a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Mark Randall Smith; her daughter, Kimberly Denise Smith; and two sisters, Linda Dale Pickens and Sarah Diane Hines (Pat).

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Gary Eugene Smith and Roger Dale Bowers; and her brother, Fred David “Freddie” Sayers.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Children’s Home. http://tabernaclechildrenshome.org
