Sandra Sue Schoenholz, 84, wife of Terry Schoenholz, died Monday, October 18, 2021.
Born in Fort Scott, KS, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Carl and Mildred Jarrett Smith. She loved singing and playing the piano, and was loved by many because she so joyously shared her love and concern for others during her life.
In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by three sons, Scott Schoenholz and wife, Maxine, David Schoenholz and wife, Jennifer, and Gary Schoenholz and wife, Christine; nine grandchildren, Christopher Schoenholz, Carl Schoenholz and wife, Rachel, Amy Boison and husband, Alex, Kevin Schoenholz, Kelly Schoenholz, Jeffrey Schoenholz, Megan Schoenholz, Sarah Turpin and husband, Garrett, and Bradley Schoenholz; and five great-grandchildren, Matthew Schoenholz, Hailey Schoenholz, Abby Schoenholz, Amareyia Schoenholz, and Rory Boison.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cyndie Schuster.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. At the family’s request, masks will be required for those in attendance, and the family dress will be “business casual”.
