My mother Betty Sue McDonald also attended Converse. My parents met Sally and Bo when they moved to Greenville from Charleston. Her son and I were in law school together. In high school I was friends with her niece and nephew Elizabeth and John Lowe in Richmond. Sally gave me a wonderful hand-delivered wedding present in 1989 before my Christ Church Greenville, SC wedding that she had found in the NC mountains. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.

Such a sad loss in the passing of this beautiful lady, long treasured in Greenville. Deepest sympathy to her beloved family and many friends. An iconic family.

Sally was my aunt and Godmother. She was always so loving and supportive of me and my two girls and of course my many dog companions over the years. We shared a love for the silly, having dressed up and performed skits for the family as adults! We confided in each other and shared many deep and personal experiences and I am forever grateful for having her in my life! Much love to all her friends and family! - Elizabeth

I have so many wonderful memories of Sally and me talking about our teen age boys. Keeping up with their goings and comings and how we might find time for us to do something. Those were the days and I treasure my memories.

I met sweet Sally when I worked at Brookdale Greenville. She was such a sweet, wonderful lady. She was beautiful inside and out. She always had kind words and a smile for everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends. She will be missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

What a beautiful obituary for such a beautiful person. Sally could always light up a room just by walking into it!
