I was deeply saddened by the news of Sarah’s death. She was a lovely Christian lady. I have many memories of her. Many mornings I would call her to be a substitute teacher at Berea Middle. She and Cecil shared lovely flowers from their beautiful yard with me and I am still enjoying them. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May God bless and comfort you today and in the days to come.
Love and prayers,
Carolyn L. Blankenship

My heart was saddened to hear of Mrs. Lowery's passing. My deepest condolences to Mr. Lowery and family. I looked forward to seeing them every spring when they would come in to the "flower tent" in Berea and buy their begonias. Mr. Lowery always knew exactly how many of each color it would take to do their flower beds, and I was always amazed at their ability to stay active even at their age. Mrs. Lowery reminded me of my own mother who never left the house without having her hair done and being nicely dressed. She was a true southern lady and I loved her because she was a "straight shooter". I haven't seen them in several years, but I was fortunate enough to catch the news when they featured her celebrating her 100th birthday. Such a blessing to have known her and my prayers are with you all during this sad time.

I cannot remember attending church at Sans Souci and not seeing Mr. and Mrs. Lowery. Their
leadership and commitment to Sans Souci was invaluable, and clearly set a positive example
for all to follow. No matter the occasion, they were always the best dressed, most polite couple in
Greenville. My sympathies to the Lowery family during this difficult time.

I will never forget this date November 30, 2020.  I had the opportunity to stop by your mom and dads house dressed up in my Santa outfit.  I was able to talk you mom into sitting on my lap and she laughed so hard.  I will cherish this memory forever.  Susan I love in Christ name and praying for you and your family.
