We just learned of Sam's passing. We have known Sam for many years, especially in earlier years as a police officer. We have always thought most highly of Sam both as an individual and an officer. He might be remembered as one of the old-school "good ones"! He always had not only 'cop' sense but common sense, as well, whenever dealing with the public. As you posted, he was definitely there with your family and the Grands where he loved to be! He was always thrilled to share family stories!
