Sheila Lynn Hale, 62, wife of Freddy Hale, Sr., of Greenville, died Friday, May 1, 2020.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Jane Roland Franks.

Sheila was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Easley. She loved spending quality time with her family and enjoyed caring for her loved ones.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by daughter Wakina Gunnells (Ronnie); three sons, Fred Hale, Jr. (Krystal), Matt Hale and Charles McCoig; sisters, Gloria Whitmire and Kathy Simons; brother, Danny Franks; five grandchildren: Summer Powell, Lavaye Hale, Andrea Simons, Gracye Hale and Brandon Powell; three great grandchildren: Axel Amick, Blayze Amick, Mattie Pitts, a great granddaughter on the way, and a longtime friend, Brenda Hollaway.

Shelia will lie in state, Monday, May 4, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel.  A private graveside service will be Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Graceland Cemetery West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Children's Home.
