Shelby Jean Pruitt

Shelby Jean Pruitt, 83, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2022.

Born in Buford, GA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Margaret McDaniel.

Shelby was a long time resident of Greenville since her move in 1989. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Shelby enjoyed cooking, fishing, crafting, and sewing. She also loved cheating at cards.

She is survived by daughter, Mary Iacovelli; two granddaughters, Dana Iacovelli and Amanda Meister (Jason); two grandsons, David P. Iacovelli (Ali) and Tim Carr, Jr. ; three sisters, Linda Barrs, Phyllis Lakey (Ronnie)and Diane Sweatman; and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Shelby was preceded in death by her son William Carr.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 03, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown.
