My family and I joined Choice Hills Baptist Church in 1983. It was while a member, I was saved ! Preacher Craig was instrumental in my early days and years of my walk with the Lord. He encouraged, discipled and gave me many opportunities for serve and spiritual growth at Choice Hills. I had the blessed privelege of going on a tour group to the Holy Land in 1985, along with Preacher Craig, Elaine and a few others from the church. I also had the privelege of being baptized in the Jordan River by Preacher Craig. He has run his course and finished the race. He is now reaping his heavenly reward and I look forward to the uniting with him, in God's Kingdom one day !

My Daddy, Rev. Charles Garrett and Pastor Craig stood united many times against the devil in our community. I will always remember them both as soldiers of the Cross who stood faithful and carried the mantle when others did not. Pastor Craig touched so many lives and served the Lord tirelessly for many years. He’s rejoicing in Heaven now with my Daddy. Praying for you all because I know the heartache you feel. May God comfort your hearts as only He can.???

Corrie, Jonathan, Christie, David & Timmy, We love y’all so much and are praying for you and your families. We were so blessed to have had your dad as our pastor for many years. We were so sad to hear of his passing and it is bittersweet but, Paul tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We remember your dad saying, if anyone tells you, I’m dead, don’t you believe a word of it, for I will be more alive than ever. Your dad was real and he lived and was faithful to our Lord and Saviour. We love y’all so much and are praying for you. Your dad is experiencing everything he preached about. I can see him now, strolling down those streets of gold holding your precious mother’s hand and both of them rejoicing and singing praises unto the Lord. Love you!”

We were so blessed to have had Pastor Craig be our pastor for many years. He was genuine. He was real and He loved the Lord with all his heart. He cared about people going to hell and he shared the gospel with them and looked for opportunities to share the Word with them. I remember Pastor Craig saying, if anyone tells you I’m dead, don’t you believe them, I will be more alive than I have ever been. Praise the Lord, his suffering is over and now, he’s experiencing what he preached. He loved people and he loved his family. Corrie, Jonathan, Christie, David and Timmy we love y’all. Sam and I are praying for you and y’all families. Your dad is now in heaven and his troubles and trials are over and we will see him again. This is bittersweet but,Paul tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We know where he is. Praise the Lord for his mercy and goodness. We will miss him but,we will see him again, this is not the end. If we can do anything for y’all (anytime), don’t hesitate to let us know. We are praying for you. We love you!

So sorry to hear about your father’s passing. I was a good friend of your mother’s, and sang in their wedding. I know what it’s like to loose both of your parents. My mother died just a few years ago and my dad some years earlier. It’s not easy. Know that my prayers are with your whole family.

Our family is praying for all of Pastor Craig's dear family and friends. We were honored to call him pastor and friend for many years. He was one of the first people God used to ignite a passion in my heart for worldwide missions. My family and I spent many nights in his office discussing spiritual things, scripture, and answered prayers. He always seemed excited to serve the Lord and I still remember one of his sermons in which he encouraged our church family to wear the garment of praise. He is with his precious Savior and our family looks forward to seeing him again! Praying especially for Jonathan, Christy, Corrie, David, and Timmy during this time!

This wonderful man was one of my very best friends. He and our other two golf buddies, Dr. Collins and Dr. Lyles have gone ahead of me to glory, but I will be there soon. We always said about Stan, "what you see is what you get" He was the same loving, gentle, amazing man no matter where he was or who he was with. I will miss him greatly. See you soon Stan.
