Stephanie Lee Hyler Williams, 78, of Greer, wife of the late John H. Williams III, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Sanders Hyler.

Stephanie was known to many as having a Pepsi and Lilly in her arms and always saying, “I’m mean, fat, and sassy”. She loved to play a game or two of BINGO. She was also a very loving daughter, wife, mother, granny great granny, cousin, and friend. Stephanie loved her family with everything she had. She was a member of East Georgia Road Baptist Church.

Stephanie will live on in the hearts of her three wonderful children, Carolyn Miller and husband, Chip; Jack Lenwood Smith, Jr., and Daniel Franklin Smith; eight precious grandchildren, Samantha Smith, Kimberly Thompson and husband, Easton, Patrick Moyer and wife, Destiny, Jessica Smith, Carrie Smith, Amanda Lynn Smith, Bradley Scott Smith, Ashley Nicole McAlister; 15 adoring great grandchildren; and her precious shih tzu, Lilly Williams.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Carolyn, Jack (Len), Danny and The Williams Families: No one else is in your shoes or your mind and body, so don’t second guess yourself. Be brave, be strong, be confident and stay in Gods will for your life. He knows you are frightened by the unknown and feel vulnerable and out of control, but He’s got this. He’s using your mother’s life as a testimony for his glory, honor and praise. I have so many great memories with her and I can imagine how much fun it would have been to go play Bingo with her. May you feel Gods grace, mercy, compassion and love during this difficult time. I will have you in my prayers as I know this is one of the hardest times I’ve been through myself.
