Theresa graduated from Westside High School in Anderson, South Carolina, in 1975 and then from Clemson University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management and Graphic Arts. She had a long career in business development and had recently retired.

Theresa was devoted to her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and her beloved Clemson Tigers. She is survived by her husband, Michael R. Cook, children Jared and Nathan Huffman, and her mother, Marie L. Dyer. She was preceded in death by her father, O. Doyle Dyer, and her brother, Christopher Scott Dyer.

The memorial service will be held Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast Chapel.

I worked with Theresa back in the day for 17 yrs. at American Graphics/Cadmus she was always so kind & grateful for any project we worked together on. I enjoyed seeing her posts & keeping up through Facebook, especially her gardening. I am in shock & a loss for words. I do believe that she will be keeping a watch from above on her family. My deepest sympathy for you all.

I am heartbroken to hear of Theresa's passing. I had the privilege of working with Theresa for many years at Cadmus. She was such a warm, wonderful person who loved everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with her two boys and all her family. Go lightly Theresa. Know you live on in all the hearts you touched.

Jared and Nathan, We were so sad to hear that your Mom had passed. We have such wonderful memories of the times that Daniel spent with you. Daniel reminded us that he and Jared were only two days apart. You had such fun in the woods by the river. Your Mom loved you very much and I know you will miss her deeply. I am saddened to hear of Theresa's passing. She was such a wonderful person and I had the opportunity to see her smiling face for many years when we worked at American Graphics. She loved her family so much and I pray that God's peace will surround her family and friends during this time.

I am in shock, seeing beautiful Theresa’s picture attached to her notice of passing. I am just devastated. I am so so sorry for her two boys, whom I know she adored ! We worked together at Emory for years & she talked about you boys all the time…. THE loves of her life. To her husband, I am so very sad. I will keep you all in my prayers.
