Terry Wayne Croy

Terry Wayne Croy, 66, of Cleveland, SC, died Friday, May 6, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Jones Calvin and Virginia Croy Bryant.

Terry served for six years in the United States National Guard. He was an avid fisherman who was loved and respected by all who knew him. Terry was a homebody who spent most of his time on the lake or the river. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his grandchildren, and his “whole world”, his son, TJ.

He is survived by son, Terry Jones “TJ” Croy; sister, Janice Samples; special friend, May Hembree; step daughter, Kayla Hembree; step son, Nicholas Byars; grandchildren, Liani, Makenna, Nyla, and Kaiden; nieces, Missy Lawson, Kim Hunter, Jessica Crane and Valerie Dix; and many other more beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ricky Croy; sister, Linda Chambers; and nieces, Linda Michelle Turner and Cheryl Samples Pearson.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest.
