Thomas “Greg” Putman, 70, husband of Marsha Williams Putman, died Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of Bonnie Lusk Putman of Greenville the late Wallace Putman.

Greg was a graduate of Parker High School. He was in sales for over 25 years with IPEX, a supplier to the pipe fitting industry. Greg was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

In addition to his wife of 29 years and his mother, he is survived by his son Jason Putman; two grandchildren, Mary Ellen Putman and Madison Putman; sister Elise Seaborn and her husband, Mike; and a niece, Allison Pacewic.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
