Tody Miles, 86, husband of Virginia Miles of Piedmont, died Thursday, April 2, 2020 at home.
Born in Westminster, SC, he was the son of the late Lee and Gertrude Steel Miles.

Mr. Miles was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

Tody was a body and fender repairman of great talent for most of his life. People would stop by his home to admire his impressive flower gardens. He had a great sense of humor and he will truly be missed.

In addition to his wife of 66 years, he is survived by; granddaughter Nikki Morgan; grandson Jason Miles; great-grandchildren Hailey Miles, Liam Morgan and Hayden Morgan; and sisters Edna Jones, Geneva Williams and Mildred Standridge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Miles; and siblings, Nora Lee Moore, Dub Miles and Grover Miles.

A private graveside service will be held. There will be a public memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Siloam Baptist Church, 229 Siloam Road, Easley, SC 29642.

My dad (Joel Jenkins) loved Tody. He was such a wonderful, helpful man. He was blessed with talents that many did not have and was so willing to use them to help others. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers ascend for all. May God hold you in His arms and may you and the family be lifted by His love. Tody was a good man to be around and I have heard many stories of his generosity. I know he will be sorely missed.

So many happy memories of the card game nights. Ran into Tody at a couple of car shows a while back. Virginia, I love you and will be praying for you all.

Virginia I was sad to learn of Tody’s death. I remember the days when we were in the Couple’s Sunday School Class at Siloam. We were all like family and enjoyed a lot of great times together. You and your family are in my prayers.
