Veronica Dell Grissop, 49, devoted wife of John Van Grissop, passed away after her brave fight with cancer, on Monday, July 26, 2021.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of Dennis and Elizabeth Gale Couch.

Dell was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Dell enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her sweet spirit and good heart. She loved to make others smile by giving them homemade beaded bracelets she would make.

In addition to her parents and her loving husband of 25 years, Dell’s memory will continue on with her son, Jonathan Grissop; two grandchildren, Parker and Daisy; two brothers, John and James Couch; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with a gathering of friends to be held until 7:30 p.m. in our Northwest Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dell’s memory to Miracle Hill by visiting miraclehill.org.

Dell brought me three gallon ziplock bags full of beaded bracelets with different verses and encouraging words on them. We shared every last bracelet with our youth (and adults) at church.
