I just saw Steve's obituary online and wanted to give my condolences. Jane and I were best friends in high school and I met many of you in the early 70's. After high school whenever we spoke, she would always tell me about how everyone was doing. I miss her and I am so sorry for your loss of Steve. Once again, my condolences for your loss. Love, Sarah Glen

Don Bridges left a message on October 5, 2021:
I played on the track, baseball, football and basketball teams at Paris High School with Steve. I remember the 440 relay team ( upper state and state meets). I was sick at home when the football team pictures were made but got a trophy for best back. Steve was always a close friend with so many fun memories in sports. Peggy Lindley and her family were next door neighbors on Wade Hampton Blvd. and we were active members at H.H. Baptist church for my early years in high school. I cherish their friendship. I will always have good memories of Steve and will miss seeing Steve at those high school reunions. I look forward to many more years of friendship with Peggy and her family. May God be with you in recovering from your loss. Your friend, Don Bridges
