Uncle Harry was such a great ambassador to the Balding family. His life epitomized all that was dear to his parents. He was always gracious in his relationships. No matter the occasion, he always had a smile, a hug, and a kiss for you when he greeted you. He wanted to know how you were and what you had been up to. He was loyal to his family to a fault; whether entertaining, visiting, or sharing a story he always made you feel loved and appreciated. Most importantly, he was able to be the man he was because of his relationship with his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. His thoughts were never far from a story of the most recent way God had shown His love to him and how "He didn't deserve it." Thank you Uncle Harry for carrying the torch of our family and our Lord so faithfully!

I remember Harry's concern for my own father who passed last month. Despite his own hospitalization and illness, Harry phoned me to inquire about my father's condition. Worked with Harry on many quality issues, and will never forget the comment at a MTY POE....."They are playing golf, while Rome's burning". He taught me so much as a young PI manager dealing with many people in all facets of the company, that I will never forget. From the automotive quality meeting blistering to all delivery issues from the finishing plant managers. He was respected and taught me the finer points of problem solving, and I deeply respected him, as well as all others through out the business. I will always remember him helping me and others when Mr. Milliken asked Harry if he was aware of the issues, and he would say "Yes Sir Mr. Milliken" , and the respect that was issued, and the conversation was complete.
