William Mills Batson, III, 80, of 12 Pilot Road, husband of Annette Cleveland Batson, died Thursday June 17, 2004 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center Born in Travelers Rest, he was the son of the late William Mills and Lelia Gosnell Batson. Mr. Batson was retired from Judson Mills and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where he was a member of the church choir. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Rosevelyn Batson Cooper of Greenville; a son, Billy Batson of Greenville; three grandchildren, Erin Durham, Bret Batson, and Heather Cooper; three great grandchildren, Tyler Durham, Blake Durham, and Jaila Harris; and two sisters, Geneva Wilson of Greenville and Ruth Watkins of Charleston. Funeral services will be held Sunday June 20, 2004 at 3:00 PM at Bethel United Methodist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 2106 Old Buncombe Road, Greenville, SC 29609. The family will be at the residence.
