Willie Bridges Garrett

Willie Bridges Garrett went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2023, at her home of more than 65 years.

She was a long-time member of her beloved Bethesda Methodist Church in Powdersville where she was a choir member. Mrs. Garrett was a founding member of the Powdersville Garden Club where she shared her love of flowers and gardening. She enjoyed baking sweets for her friends both those who came to visit her and those she visited.

Mrs. Garrett was predeceased by her husband, James Russell Garrett, her daughter, Patricia Garrett Potter, her son, James Anthony Garrett, and her grandson, Benjamin Lewis Campbell.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Garrett Bagwell and Sherri Garrett Kennedy. She is also survived by her grandsons, Jason Read Potter, James David Bagwell, and Jeremy Michael Potter; her granddaughters, Paige Potter Loftis, Jennifer Campbell Coyne, Suzanne Bagwell Garrett, Heather Garrett Bain, and Chelsey Garrett Brown; as well as 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at Bethesda Methodist Church on Saturday May 6th at 11:00 a.m. and receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
