Rose Roach Petty, 88, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021.

Born in Oconee Co., she was the daughter of the late Mitchell Calab Roach and Ressie M. Seigal Roach.

She was co-owner of Clemson Housing Center and of the Methodist faith.

Rose is survived by a daughter, Sharon Petty; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; and five sisters.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harry L. Petty; son, Tony R. Petty; daughter, Brenda Petty Dill; two sisters and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/donate-to-st-jude.html or 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. Burial will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
