Jimmy “Jim” Dale Duffle, Sr., 76, loving husband of Mildred Duffle, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Born in Searcy, AR, he was a son of the late Robert and Ola.
Jim proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, and was a retired truck driver with STI. He was a member of Zion Assembly Church of God.
Jim was very outgoing with a social spirit. He loved life and loved the people who surrounded him, especially his family. Jim felt as if he had four children, two born to him and two whom he considered blessings that married into the family. He was overjoyed with the additions of his three grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking and was a lifetime member of the NRA.
He is survived by wife of 51 years Mildred Duffle; daughter, Casey Duffle Smith (Jackie “JT”); son, Jimmy Dale Duffle, Jr. (Elizabeth); two granddaughters, Kelsea and Kaleigh Duffle; grandson, Connor Davis; brother, Robert “Sonny” (Daethel); and two sisters, Carolyn and Phyllis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Martha.
A memorial service will he held to honor Jim’s life on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to KB Charitable Trust, P.O. Box 25301, Greenville, SC 29616, which is a privately funded Inner City Mission for Greenville County Youth.
