Linda “Gail” Wyatt, 79, loving wife of the late Donald Edward Wyatt, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Born in Spindale, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ona Stinchcomb Hogan.
Gail was a devoted member of Trinity Fellowship Church in Greer for many years. She loved her family deeply and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Gail was an excellent baker; she was famous for her carrot cakes and always blessed her grandchildren with delicious cupcakes on their birthdays. In her spare time, she loved to sew and do ceramics. She found much happiness in creating one of a kind ceramic coffee mugs for new members of her church.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Donna Edwards (Barry); her grandson, Ross Wyatt (Laura); three granddaughters, Ana Isom (Justin), Britney Smith (Watson) and Kyrsten Yeomans; two sisters, Pat Lang and Judy Smallwood; and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Gail was preceded in death by her son, Robert Dale Wyatt, and sister, Kathy Cook.
A visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel.
