I just stumbled on Ray's obituary while looking at my sister's obituary. Suzie Solesbee Chandler passed away on Sunday, October 28, just a day after Ray and her visitation was held at Thomas McAfee on Wednesday, the day after Ray's. Amazing that two family members were there at the same time. I haven't seen Ray in several years, but do fondly remember family reunions with he, Faye, and the rest of your family. Please accept my deepest sympathy in his loss.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Ray...Mr. Ray was always the first one you would see when you walked into church...always with a smile and a kind word. I cherish the memories I have of him and I pray peace and comfort for his family...standing in promise that you will all be with him again.

Praying for all of you as Ray will be very missed . The earth has lost a true jewel in him. I absolutely loved and was blessed by his singing in the quartet , his kindness, smile and good example. I believe he is with his Lord and being told what a good servant he was during his time here . So very sorry for your loss. Love Laura Styles

I like to express my condolences to the friends and family. Loosing someone we love is never easy. Sometimes our close friends and family don’t even understand our pain. Fortunately we have a loving God who does and knows exactly what we need. Turn to HIM in prayer. He is the God of all comfort and wants to help you through this. 2 Corinthians 1:3.4 that says praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. I hope this is a source of comfort for you.
