Warner “Bud” Rathbun Gallagher

Warner “Bud” Rathbun Gallagher, 78, of Greenville, husband of Jewell Aileene Rollins Gallagher, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 after a brief illness.

Born in Toledo, OH, he was a son of the late Thomas Payson and Martha Jane Rathbun Gallagher.

Bud served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Abundant Grace Church of God. He loved electronics and playing chess. Bud loved his church. He always had a warm smile to share with others.

In addition to his loving wife of 33 years, he is survived by two stepsons, Jim Hardwick (Carol) and Paul Rollins; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and one great grandchild; and two brothers, David Gallagher (Laurita) and Mark Gallagher (Nil).

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Gallagher; and a brother, Edward Gallagher (Carol).

The memorial service will be held Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Abundant Grace Church of God.
