Wendy Smith Thames

Wendy Smith Thames, a native Texan, joined Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes as a Funeral Director and Embalmer in July of 2019. Mrs. Thames received her A.A.S. in Mortuary Science from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and has served families for over 20 years in Texas, Louisiana, Connecticut, and South Carolina. Wendy has been involved with several charitable  organizations throughout her career including MADD, Susan G. Komen, Habitat for Humanity, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
