Ada L. Hall, 88, of 125 Allendale Circle, died Friday, January 25, 2008 at NHC of Anderson. Born in Newport, TN, she was a daughter of the late George and Elmer McNabe Lewis and wife of the late Ben D. Hall, Sr. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and a former employee of Poinsett Mill. She was a member of Mt. Creek Baptist Church of Anderson and a former member of Poinsett Baptist Church in Greenville where she taught Sunday School for more than sixty years. Mrs. Hall was a faithful servant to God and her church's and family. Surviving are three sons, Ben Dewey Hall, Jr. and wife Judith of Greenville, John A. Hall and wife Rachel of Anderson, and Jack Hall and wife Elaine of Travelers Rest; two sisters, Nell Wicks of Piedmont, and Dora Lee Farley of Clarksville, TN; a brother, Jack Lewis, of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Cindy Fulbright, Tim Hall, David Burgess, Allen Burgess, John Hall, and Benjamin Hall; and seventeen great grandchildren. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by a sister, Willie Mae Hall; and two grandsons, Gary and Dean Hall. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 28, 2008 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens, SC. The family is at the home of son Ben Dewey Hall, Jr., 13 Etowah Drive, Greenville.
