Ada Marie Mason

Ada Marie Howard Mason, 94, who resided with her daughters on Augusta Road, Ware Place, formerly of 4 McLean Street, Greenville, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2006. Born in Anderson County, Mrs. Mason was the widow of John H. Mason and the daughter of the late William Samuel and Alice Burgess Howard. She was retired from Brandon Mill and was of the Baptist faith. She and her husband of 63 years raised and sold birds at the White Horse Road Flea Market. Mrs. Mason is survived by two daughters, Bertha M. Tinsley and her husband Douglas, and Christine M. Murrell and her husband Willard; a son, Howard W. ?Buddy? Mason and his wife Ann Shirley of Belton; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchilden. She was predeceased by two daughters, Margaret Mason and Carolyn Bradberry Cook. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held from 10:30 ? 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family will be at their respective homes.
