Adell Cassell Ragsdale

Adell Cassell Ragsdale, 81, of 569 Anthony Road, died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Cannon Memorial Hospital. Born in Central, SC, she was wife of the late James Harold Ragsdale and a daughter of the late Joseph and Belle Satterfield Cassell. Mrs. Ragsdale worked for Judson Mills and K-Mart and she was a member of Judson Baptist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Sharon Francis, of North Lewisburg, OH; a son, Alvin Al J. Ragsdale, of Pickens; three sisters, Ruby McAbee, of Greenville, Lucille Minter, of Dallas, TX, and Lavonne McClure, of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Ray Cassell, of Pickens; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at noon, Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, with burial in Graceland West Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-7:30 pm, Monday at the funeral home. The family will be at their respective homes.
