Andrew Clifton Watson

Andrew Clifton Watson, 90, formerly of 207 Brockman Avenue, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Richard M. Campbell Nursing Center. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Charles M. and Frances Robinson Watson and husband of the late Gladys Hughes Watson. Mr. Watson served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Nabisco Company. He was a member of Sans Souci Baptist Church and the Berean Sunday School Class. Surviving are three sons, Eugene Watson and wife Gennell of Greenville, Larry Watson and wife Marjorie of Greenville, and Gary Watson and wife Sandra of Seneca; a sister, Grace Oatley, of Grand Rapids, MI; a sister-in-law, Mary Sue Watson, of Greenville; eight grandchildren, Teresa Howard and husband Gray, Renee Knight and husband Darrell, Cherrie Cooley and husband William, David Watson and wife Rhonda, Kevin Watson and wife Debbie, Makkie Watson and wife Dawn, Russell Watson and wife Ginger, and Jody Watson and wife Sherrie; and fifteen great grandchildren. He is predeceased by six brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:30 ? 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Friday at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at 6 Wardview Avenue.
