Angela Rose Fowler, 69, of Greenville, SC died Monday, August 01, 2005 at her residence. A native of Brooklyn, NY., she was the daughter of the late Savairo and Rose Orzillo and the widow of George J. Fowler. Mrs. Fowler was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and attended St. Mary Magdeline Catholic Church. She was retired from Sears and also worked at Greenville Psychiatry. Survivors include a son, George J. Fowler and his fiancé Leslie A. Cohen of Cranford, NJ.; a daughter, Michele F. Fowler of Greenville; life friend, Julie M. Bond and her son, Matthew Bond; grandchildren, Kristin Fowler of Mays Landing, NJ., Bryan Fowler and Bridgette Fowler both of Cranford, NJ; and a brother, Gregory Orzillo. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 414-A Pettigru Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 03, 2005 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 PM with visitation to follow until 9:00 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 04, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Simpsonville. The Rite of Committal will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will be at the residence.

Angela and worked at the Metropolitan Life Insurance company. We loved her. She was loved by everyone. I remember when she showed us a picture of her wedding dress. She had the seamstress copy the top of one wedding gown she liked and the bottom design of another She will always be remembered, as well as George who worked at the MetLife also. Mrs. Fowler has been in my life for most of my years. She was an angel and a friend, but most of all like a second mother to me. She will be missed terribly. My love and sympathy to Michele and George and the rest of the family.
